About us

Ophir Research Analytics and Development (ORAD) is an independent research organization committed to bridging the gap between research, evidence, and real-world impact. While much research generates policy recommendations, implementation often remains limited. ORAD addresses this gap by transforming evidence into practical, scalable solutions that directly improve lives.

We conduct rigorous research, evidence synthesis, analytics, and modeling to design and deliver actionable interventions. Our work focuses on advancing sustainable livelihoods, reducing poverty, and mitigating climate change among the vulnerable populations.

By integrating research with implementation, ORAD ensures that knowledge is not only produced but also translated into meaningful systemic change.

What we do

ORAD operates at the intersection of research, innovation, and implementation by:

  • Conducting applied research and evidence synthesis to identify practical solutions
  • Developing data-driven tools, models, and policy frameworks
  • Designing and piloting scalable interventions for vulnerable population
  • Strengthening agricultural value chains to improve incomes and resilience
  • Promoting universal access to modern energy for the vulnerable population
