Project Overview
Access to affordable, reliable, and clean energy remains a major challenge in Sub-Saharan Africa, particularly in rural and off-grid areas. While renewable energy technologies such as solar and mini-grids are expanding, barriers such as affordability, infrastructure, and policy gaps limit widespread adoption.
This project focuses on accelerating the transition to clean energy by identifying scalable solutions that improve access while supporting economic development.
Objectives

Develop policy and financing recommendations
Methodologies
Energy access surveys across rural and peri-urban areas
Stakeholder interviews with energy providers and regulators
Cost-benefit analysis of renewable energy solutions
Review of national and regional energy policies
Expected Outputs
Energy access diagnostic report
Policy brief on renewable energy adoption
Investment roadmap for clean energy solutions
Stakeholder engagement workshops
